"Justine was as good at hiding her emotions as anyone I'd ever seen, but I could sense leashed tension and quiet fear beneath the calm surface.

I'm a wizard, or damned close to it, and I work with the mind. People don't really get to hide things from me."
-- Bombshells, Jim Butcher

"When you're into magic, people always assume anything you do must be connected to it. Harry always thought that was funny. To him, magic was just one more set of tools that the mind could use to solve problems. The mind was the more important part of that pairing."
--Bombshells, Jim Butcher

Basically:
Super sensitivity to other people's emotions + Good observation and deductive skills = someone who, when she's trying, can guess what you're feeling and why, which is very close to what you're thinking. She is more or less successful at blocking out it out when she really really REALLY tries and if the emotions aren't that strong but it's very difficult for her to maintain control in say - angry combat situations. Or if someone dies, she is feeling that death too, every fear and anger and regret. The stronger the emotion is, the harder it is for her to block it.

BASICALLY, I'd just like you guys to be able to let me know if you're comfortable with me having Molly doing a basic read on your characters. She's gotten blunt and a little crazy, so this might result to her cutting to the punch in some scenarios or making eerily accurate assumptions... let me know if you're OK with this, or if you're uncomfortable with anything she does PLEASE, PLEASE let me know too.

Feel free to do what you will for Gendry and Ronon. They're not exactly obvious with their emotions.

As for Ronon, I think you're well aware of his background. There's a whole lot of death there and I recall that being a ping in the past.

Zane and Kenzi are completely open to this. Both wear their emotions on their sleeves, but Zane does hide his past more than Kenzi. Though there are parts he's embarrassed about, he doesn't hide it because of that. Both Zane and Kenzi look more towards the future than dwelling in the past, so it's not really hiding anything, just not thinking about it.

I'm good with it for both Sansa and Buffy. They both try hard to hide their emotions, but they're both pretty bad about it -- opting instead for silence or contrived hollowness in order to cover their pain.

All I ask is that if Molly figures out a lot of Sansa's fake identity stuff, that she not confront Sansa about it in front of other characters. I kinda want that to last a little while with everyone else. Not that it matters because they don't start out in the same group, I suppose!
